The Motorola Droid X runs Google Android 2.1, but will be upgradeable to Android 2.2 in late summer to support Adobe Flash; it has a large 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera, 8 GB memory and comes with a 16 GB micro SDHC memory card, 720p HD video recording, dual LED flash, and can output video via HDMI or DLNA.
We take a look at the hardware of the Samsung Galaxy S. This is the first Android device to use Samsung’s new Super AMOLED screen. The screen is a 4 inch capacitive glass display with the resolution of WVGA at 24bit/pixel. The phone boasts newer technology like the 1 gigahertz Samsung Hummingbird processor, Blue Tooth 3.0, and the Wireless-N band. There is a 5MP camera with the ability to shoot 720p video at 30fps. Unfortunately there is no flash on this phone, which to me was sort of a disappointment. Call quality is clear and undistorted.
