This compilation includes a mobile LED light bulb which has a battery and is activated through touch. This is a prototype device and we hope to see a final product in 2011, they tell us they are still working on how the light bulb will know how to turn on when there is a power outage and not just when you turn off the light. We also have some ground breaking solar technology that looks like a window but is actually a solar panel, we haven’t seen anything like this, it really looks like we could integrate this into our homes. The more opaque window will product 6 watts and the more transparent only produces 2. If you leave your home for 8 hours on the more opaque will produce enough energy to run your netbook for 3 hours. Also at display Taiwan we uncovered some displays! The two most interesting screens were the CPT screen that looks a lot like the Pixel Qi Screen, the screen uses 2.5 watts and with out the backlight it goes down to 1 watt. check it out, for out door display technology we hope that it comes to market. AUO also has a great display its transparent for functionality of the touch screen when looking at the pictures is up and down but in the drawing application anything goes.
