There are a number of tasks that we have to do if we own a laptop and want to improve its functionality and durability. There are certainly a lot of benefits that we can obtain when we own a laptop instead of a personal computer such as flexibility and mobility. However, the compact construction of a laptop makes it much less sturdier than a personal computer because for the sake of gaining total compactness and lightness, several hardware parts that are used to prevent the computer from damages such as additional fans, sturdy CPU casing made from metal, and well-built construction are removed from the laptop. For that reason, we have to accomplish additional tasks to overcome such shortcomings.
Among hardware parts of laptop, laptop screen should be prioritized first in the maintenance activity because it is the most fragile part of the laptop. If we want to prevent the LCD screen from being damaged, we have to prevent ourselves from frequently touching it and knocking it with pen or other sharp things. When we want to clean the laptop LCD screen with certain liquid screen cleaner, we have to make sure that we do not spray the liquid directly to the screen. We should spray the liquid to the cleaning materials such as cleaning tissue or sponge instead and use such materials to clean the screen. If the laptop is closed, we are not permitted to put anything on it because the pressure may damage the screen. We must also make sure that there is nothing between the screen and the keyboard if we close the screen. And if the screen is unexpectedly damaged, we have to replace the screen with only registered OEM replacement laptop screens.
