In our latest staff meeting we decided that our company cannot afford regular business intelligence IT infrastructure. We are rolling out plans to grow at an aggressive rate but find that a SaaS Business Intelligence solution would definitely be the best ways for us to stay on track for our business objectives, while reducing overhead costs. One main feature we are looking for within any SaaS BI platform that we choose is Data Visualization. It is very important that our decisions can see our data graphically, to reach better and quicker decisions about business priorities. We began looking for SaaS BI vendors last week and came across a few different companies that seem to have great on-demand offerings. The first company on the list that we are evaluating is Actuate. Their on-demand SaaS BI platform seems very cost effective for our company’s business objectives. We plan on using the basic 5 user licenses to test out the software with a few of our developers with goal of possible narrowing down the exact specifications we would need to fulfill our business needs.
