@miriveq thanks!
@Strider505 there is a SATA cable (alongside the e-sata cable) that plugs in to you mobo and the SATA (or 4-pin – forgot and not really want to look for it inside) power connectors. Manual recommends setting your SATA mode to AHCI.
This review made me purchase the case. I am very very satisfied, thanks!
that swappable drive bay on the top- how does it wire into the motherboard/psu?
omfg thats the case i was lookin for its just perfect for my system .. .i want it o.o’
i have this case and i have question regarding to the blued led on the front fan. Do i need to turn it off or just turn it on all the time? is the led light last long?
I have this case. It’s awesome, but… there is no place to put your stickers on. On the side panel kind of sucks, on the front it’s all mesh, and at the top it’s just too small. that’s pretty poor.
this is ineed sexy
antec 902 is greater…. in fact,antec chasis is more pro,cooler master is a toy……
would a 5970 fit in there.
Thanks very informative. I saw how easily you removed the front bezel is this an improvement on v1 where it’s a nightmare to remove. The manufacturers ought to make the front bezels alot easier to remove as this spoils an otherwise excellent value for money case. I used a Xigmatel case last week which is very similar to coolermaster but not so good imo and even managed to break a plastic lug removing the front bezel. Very infuriating. OK sorry about the rant and thanks for the video.
Are the rubber feet on the bottom removable i.e. held by screws or are irremovable? I usually remove the rubber feet and install wheels because usually my cases are heavy and that makes them easier to carry if you like going to lan parties.
11 fans!
WHOA! WTF! HardwareCanucks has a YouTube channel!!! HELLZ MOTHER SUBSCRIBED!
CM 690 II or tempest evo??
Obsidian 800D All the way.
@HardwareCanucks yes thanks,i forgot thati just could watch the video again instead of asking =p i have bought the case thanks for the review
@diebkgast Yes, all of those fans will fit. I would likely suggest that you install the 140mm fans on the side panel, and put a 120mm at the top, and a 120mm in the HDD cage or bottom.
Alternatively you could add 140mm to the top, have a 140mm and 120mm on the side, and 120mm at the bottom or HDD cage
@Tzenjin There is an additional dust filter that you can put underneath the PSU. There are none at the rear & top because those are exhaust points. Filters are only needed at intake points
@Roboburrr 6
OMG! It can just fit on my desk. That desk has 57 cm height, this case is 52 cm! :O
heey,
thanx for the cool vid! it rlly helps!
but i kinda got lost :S
i have ordered 2x 120mm and 2x 140mm, there is enough room for all of those right?
thanx
@loler5435 It fits a gtx 460 perfectly the case has 3 fans with sound output of around 17-19db. If you compare this to the other parts (gpu fans cpu fans) its very silent . + The gigabyte GTX 460 1gb oc is a good card i have got it too.
@HardwareCanucks how many HDD bays are there in total?
What about dust filters on the bottom or rear of the case?
