I tried this but the update does not work! im stuck with RC 29..

@deon93797 well u might want to check back on telnet and make sure eveything is correct
terminal emulator says [permission denied]

how can i reboot my system back to normal? this aint working for me
i have a unlock phone but when i dontgrade i cant conect to the network of my sim card so i cant get signal so i cant get internet to activate my phone i am so saad my phone dont work
since its the sd ur using can i use my sd card reader to connect it to the computer or does it have to stay in the phone??

u got it wrong. try “cat /sdcard/recover.img > recovery.img”
u missed the space after the > button

when i get to the point where you need to press alt+s it tells me theres an error and it says cant open /sdcard/update.zip (no such file or directory)
installation aborted.

everything okey until
” cat /sdcard/recovery.img >recovery.img ” it displayed, cannot create recovery.img: read-only file system….”
same was displayed on the third command as well…. please help……

@MrQarsim Seriosly, you need to be EXTREMELY careful following each of these steps, Follow what Anthony does EXACTLY and you will be fine, its the best tutorial for rooting on youtube, you sound like you know what to do, i thought i did and bricked my phone.
I have bricked 2 G1′s seriously my phone under warranty with HTC in the UK so they have to replaced the motherboard twice in the past 5 weeks
AnthonyMoreno24 this might be too much to ask but maybe you could help me do it over skype or MSN?
The stupid thing is I have rooted my phone before and have installed countless ROMs onto it
