Hardware Lesson 1-2. This segment discusses the motherboard, chipsets, hard drive, RAM, and some other I/O devices.
This stuff is easy. For me at least. I got hired as a in store tech with no certs or anything. Either you know it or you don’t.
@mongolico90 no, the hard drive is way too slow to keep up with the CPU’s processing. However, there is something called a “page file” in which the hard drive “holds” some information so the CPU can focus on other applications and load them
CAN YOU USE THE HARD DRIVE AS RAM
thanks for these
@frenchge they will send me to tafe and get me up cert 4 maybe higher
Maybe or maybe not. Your education is important and will the store help if you decide to go back? Apprenticeships usually include schooling or education. Certifications is what most employers want today and will the store help with certs? I would says it depends on a lot of things. Good luck…
i want to ask a question i really want to get into computer technician etc and I’m applying for a job in a computer store near my house is this a good idea to pull out of school and do a full time apprenticeship course
You’re very welcome…Greg
Thanks man
